I’ve decided to give my isopods a cuttlebone, as I don’t think they are getting much/any calcium in their diet currently (I feed them fish food and occasionally small pieces of carrot or cucumber, and they have leaf litter too) and I want to make sure they have all they need. I found a mango-flavored cuttlebone and was wondering if it was okay to feed my isopods it? I can find a different one if needed.
(I didn’t add a picture since it’s just a normal cuttlebone but yellow, and I don’t have a package with ingredients or anything, but I can add a picture if needed)
edit: I now know that you can give them organic eggshells as extra protein, too! Since we have a lot of eggs I’ll be doing that going forward. It would still be nice to know if the cuttlebone is good to feed them, though :D
I'd be worried about what the ingredients says on the package. Stay away from anything that isn't organic imo.
